 Sportsmanship

Treat others as you would like to be treated. Refrain from heckling, harassing or making comments that would be embarrassing to others, including excessive clapping, whistling, yelling across the floor or the use of vulgarity.

Do not enter a qualifying championship unless you are fully prepared to fulfill your obligations, which will include traveling to Nationals, should you qualify. Know where and when the national championship will be before you sign and pay for your regional application. It shows a serious lack of ethics and sportsmanship to qualify for Nationals, either Junior Olympics or Standard, and not attend. By not attending you have taken away another skaters right to attend.

Show good sportsmanship by congratulating those in your event who received an award.
